Right in the middle of Covid, Boosie throws a large pool party with very few masks in sight.
Anyone wanna know why COVID is still a problem?
I gotta remember that this is the same guy that set his 13 year old with a stripper to break his virginity. The keep him from being "gay."
For those that aren't aware, NFAC is a Black militia and it stands for "Not Fu***** Around Coalition."
This militia took to Louisville to demand justice for Breonna Taylor who's killers have yet to be prosecuted. During the protest, the leader, John Johnson stated, "if you don't tell us nothing, we're going to think you ain't doing nothing."
At least three of the members were injured due to a weapon accidentally discharged, according to police.
Kyrie Irving of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets has done the amazing deed of pledging $1.5 million through his KAI Empowerment Initiative, to support WNBA players that opt out of the current season.
Mr. Irving stated that "whether a person decided to fight for social justice, play basketball, focus on physical or mental health, or simply connect with their families, this initiative can hopefully support their priorities and decisions."
I think this is an interesting idea and if others get onboard this could fare well for the Women of the WNBA.
There have been rumors a-plenty about a split between R&B Superstar Neyo and his beautiful wife Crystal. Ne-yo has finally confirmed the rumors.
"It's slowly but surely becoming public knowledge that myself and my wife have decided to go ahead and get a divorce," Ne-yo said on Private Talk Podcast.
They wed in 2016 and have 2 lovely children together.
Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, were buried Friday in a cemetery near the family's Southern California home, according to death certificates.
This cemetary, Pacific View Memorial Park is same place that Actor John Wayne, who died in 1979, is buried.
The Bryants and seven others were killed in a Jan. 26 helicopter crash. The retired basketball superstar, his daughter and the other victims will be honored at a Feb. 24 public memorial at Staples Center, where Bryant starred for most of his 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The date 2/24 corresponds with the No. 24 jersey he wore and the No. 2 worn by Gianna, whose team was coached by her father.
What do we know about David L. Steward?
Once again, Oprah Winfrey is here to remind everyone that her exit from a Sundance documentary featuring Russell Simmons’ accusers had nothing to do with pressure she received from the music mogul.
Appearing on Tuesday’s “CBS This Morning,” Winfrey addressed the media storm surrounding her decision to remove herself as executive producer of “On the Record,” a film by Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering centering on multiple women who have accused Simmons of sexual misconduct. In keeping with her statements so far, the OWN mastermind doubled down on the move, reiterating concerns that the documentary was not ready to premiere at this weekend’s Sundance Film Festival.
“In all experiences of my life, and particularly when I’m in a crisis, the only question for me is, ‘What is the right thing to do ... for me?’” Winfrey told the CBS hosts.
“Before the public pressure had started, before Russell had gone with his Instagram, I had gone to the filmmakers, and I had said to them, ‘Houston, I think we have a problem here,’ ... I said, ‘I think we need to pull out of Sundance, and if we can’t pull out of Sundance, I’m going to have to take my name off. I don’t want to have to take my name off because it’s going to be a big hullabaloo.’”
Bad Boys For Life
I tend to call it “Bad Boys 3,” but this film certainly exceeded my expectations. I admit that I did not expect much from Martin Lawrence, who’s heavier appearance and kind of humdrum demeanor really drove my opinion. But, I’m glad to say he rose to the occasion and in my opinion, out funnied Will Smith. That’s not an easy thing to do although most would conclude that Martin has always been the funnier of the two, I tend to think that Martin tries a little too hard and doesn’t land as well in movies as he did on his 90s sitcom.
My Screenwriter Perspective
I started my timer the moment the first scene opened. Right around the 16 minute mark is when I discovered the INCITING INCIDENT and I learned what the journey of the protagonist would be or in this case many would argue that there’s a “double-protagonist,” but I’m sticking to notion that Will is the protagonist. Why? Well, he’s the target, he has the major obstacles and he’s connected to the 7 Sequence in the 3rd act. The plot points were clear and I think this movie was well written and usurped both of the previous ones.
Scale from 1-10, I give it a 9.
