After missing several deadlines for his announcement, Joe Biden has finally selected his Vice President.
It is non other than my favorite for the position, Senator Kamala Harris!.
There are many black people like myself that gave an ultimatum. Black VP or Bust. Many specifically wanted Harris, but would have settled for Susan Rice, Val Demings or Karen Bass.
I have a tinge of the feeling from when Obama won the nomination.
President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Saturday that gives an additional $400 a week in unemployment benefits. Up until they expired on July 31st, it was at $600. Democrats and Republicans could not decide on an amount to extend in Congress.
This order also calls to defer payroll taxes for workers "most in need," from September 1 through December 31st.
The way it's setup is that if Trump is reelected then he says he'll make the payroll cuts permanent, but if he's not then it'll be up to Biden and the new congress to do it or else everyone will be required to pay the deferred payroll taxes.
IS THIS THE ART OF THE DEAL?

Sounds like he's getting a little nervous about the election. The polls aren't looking favorable and some think he might be named in the Ghislaine Maxwell debacle.
With that being said, his team has halted all television and radio commercials and are going back to the drawing board as the Campaign Manager, Brad Parscale is demoted.
